THE RESULTS ARE DIFFERENT COMPARED TO OTHER THERMOMETERS. IS IT NORMAL?

Yes. It is normal to obtain different results depending on the type of thermometer used (frontal, ear, oral, or rectal).

Normal body temperature varies within a certain range.

It also varies depending on the area being measured.

Therefore, readings from different body areas may not display the same results and should not be directly compared, even when taken at the same time.

DOES "LO" MEANS "LOW BATTERY"?

No. It means the temperature is below 34°C (93.2°F) in Forehead mode.

Simply bring the thermometer within 3-5cm (1.2-2 in) of the forehead.

HOW TO TURN THE SOUND ON/OFF?

When the device is on, press the "Mem" button to set the sound to On or Off. The LCD screen will show a Sound Symbol and you will hear a short beep.

To turn the sound Off, press the "Mem" button again. The Sound Symbol will change into a No Sound symbol.

HOW TO SWITCH FROM °C TO °F?

When the device is Off, press the "Mem" button for 6 seconds then switch between °C to °F.

HOW TO SWITCH MODE?

The Forehead mode is active by default.

If you wish to switch to the Object mode, press and hold the power button for 6 seconds. The Forehead mode icon (Smiley Face) will disappear and will be replaced by the Object mode icon (Temperature Symbol).

WHY DOES THE SCREEN DISPLAYS "HI"?

It means that the temperature is higher than the maximum of the measurement range of the thermometer: 43°C (109.4°F) for the Forehead mode and 93.2°C (199.7°F) for the Object mode.
