THE RESULTS ARE DIFFERENT COMPARED TO OTHER THERMOMETERS. IS IT NORMAL?

Yes. It is normal to obtain different results depending on the type of thermometer used (frontal, ear, oral, or rectal).

Normal body temperature varies within a certain range.

It also varies depending on the area being measured.

Therefore, readings from different body areas may not display the same results and should not be directly compared, even when taken at the same time.

THE THERMOMETER IS NOT TURNING ON…

The batteries are probably not inserted properly. Please insert the batteries while paying close attention to the + and - poles. Look at the Quick Start manual for the proper insertion instruction.

DOES "LO" MEANS "LOW BATTERY"?

No. It means the temperature is below 32°C (89.6°F) in Body mode or below 0°C (32°F) in Surface or Room mode.

To get a reading, you must be within 3-5 cm (1.2-2 in) of the forehead (Body mode) or get the thermometer closer to the object you wish to test the temperature of (Surface mode).
